My name is Jonas Schmutzler.

I started out as an engineer but quickly realized that Art is way more fun and fitting so after studying Illustration I have now the fortune to work as an Illustrator and Concept Artist.

Mostly I paint monsters and characters with the occasional Plein Air to get outside from time to time. I use oils when possible and try to treat my digital Art the same way as my traditional pieces which means keeping it loose and textured with the right amount of detail here and there.
